About Me
OWNER I LEAD PLANNER I DESIGNER
It is no secret that I have a sincere love and passion for planning weddings and events! My passion started many years ago and has grown more and more over the years. Being able to bring my client's visions to life is truly near and dear to my heart. I put my all into every event that I curate and I love building such incredible bonds with my clients throughout the process.

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Stevenson University in Professional Studies with concentrations in Psychology and Business.
In my continued studies and striving for excellence, I also attended Cornell University and obtained a certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship . I have always loved helping people in different capacities and spent some time in the nursing field and attended dental hygiene school before ultimately deciding to follow my dream.

I get asked a lot if this is what I do full time, and the answer is YES! This is my full time job and I would not have it any other way!

When I am not planning weddings and events, I am spending time with my husband, our children, and family & friends. I am a very big family person and we love to entertain. I love shopping, vacations, research, and just having fun. I am best described as a "glass half full" kind of girl. Always remaining positive, treating others with respect and kindness, and protecting my peace.

My morals and values are reflected in the daily operations of Signed in Pink Events and constitute many of its core principles. Leading with my heart, dignity, professionalism, strong leadership, and loyalty helps to make Signed in Pink Events one of the most trailblazing wedding companies in the industry.

It all started with a DREAM that Candice had that she was a wedding planner and a best friend who believed in her!

Signed in Pink Events was founded by Candice Taylor and co-founded by Jessica Clark-Smith. Candice's love of design and Jessica's love for planning made them become the perfect team. After years of Candice designing over the top parties for her children and her own wedding, she decided it was time to share it with the world and the best partner she could have was her best friend Jessica! They quickly became the dream team and began executing seamless and memorable events for their clients. After finishing dental hygiene school, Jessica has since pursued her dream of being a dental hygienist full time. But she still makes an appearance sometimes and brings the magic. While Candice has continued to pursue her dream of being a wedding day superhero!
